“Platero and I”  is a classic masterpiece, which poetically and beautifully describes the tender friendship between “the poet” (Juan Ramón Jiménez the author, Nobel Prize winner for literature,  1952), and his donkey “Platero”, at small Andalusian village in early twentieth century, Spain.

My illustration for “Platero and I” got many praising reviews in the media, and were exhibited in two solo shows in Cervantes cultural centre in Tel Aviv and at  “Dweik gallery”, at  Mishkanot Shaananim, in Jerusalem.  The exhibitions coincided with the book’s publication.
