Archetypal Serenity

My art is an exploration. Utilizing the juxtapositions of light and dark, presence and absence, the jagged and malleable, the delicate and brut, I investigate the transformations of materials from their familiar context into a new transcendence.

I use space; metamorphosing it into the sphere of unique environment, within which the singularity of event regulates interaction.  I am creating  irregular time zones, based on personal and collective imagery, memory, and heritage,  resonating folktale imagery, along with motives and acknowledgements from and to art history, archeology, science, society and poplar culture.

Providing the viewer with a multi-sensual and interactive experience I stake a claim for the self as well as self-exposure. Drawn out from a wide range of emotional and intellectual subjects, I employ the assemblage of my work to engage in a dialogue with the viewer’s own personal and collective affinity.
